According to SEMPO, over 64 million US wireless subscribers surfed the mobile web in May 2009 - almost twice as many people as in the previous year. This accounts for more than 20% of the total US population.
Over 80% of Americans say they can't live without their mobile devices. It's something they take with them everywhere they go, everyday. Providing a mobile service to your members allows them to access your services/benefits/information 24/7 no matter where they happen to be at the time. Imagine what's possible.
Friday, February 12, I'll be presenting a virtual session with Jeff De Cagna of Principled Innovation on just that: What's possible with mobile for associations today.
Jeff and I were each scheduled to speak at this year's ASAE Technology Conference, but due to weather the conference was canceled. Fortunately, a bunch of really ambitious and caring association professionals have created Untech10, the unofficial alternative to Tech10. Untech10 has enabled speakers like Jeff and me to still present on our topics virtually.
We're excited about the opportunity and hope you're available to attend.
